WHAT WE OFFER
Focus on Excellence
  Print document
  • We all have dreams… We all want to believe deep down in our souls that we have a special gift, a special competence, that we can make a difference that we touch others in a special way, and that we can make the world a better place.

Do you have the right focus?
To make a difference, to propose a very specific value to our customer we first have to understand our Core competences or eventually our potential to develop a Core competence we don’t have yet.  But most important is the courage to stop doing what are not our core competences and totally focus all our resources on what we are deeply convinced can create value.
There is a great difference between understanding of what you can be the best at and the goal to be the best at something.  The gap is on the clarity of your great ambitious goal, strategic themes and decisions on how to allocate resources.

Are you balanced?
What does excellence mean? Is it being extremely good at something enough? Certainly not! Let’s take a personal analogy:
You are doing work, for which you have a talent, and perhaps you could become one of the best in the world; But, you are not well paid for what you do; And, you absolutely hate to do it, and can not bear the actual process. You’ll never remain on top!
Focus on excellence is to keep moving on your competitive advantage by creating more passion and economic value. Excellence can be defined as the ability to balance simultaneously people’s expectations (PASSION) and clients’ expectations (DISCIPLINE) and shareholders’ expectations (ECONOMIC VALUE). The generated economic value will help enhance your value proposition to your customer creating more passion from people.
How can you define and sustain such a balance? How can you translate that understanding into a simple, crystalline concept that will guide all your efforts and your people's efforts?

Who keep focusing on excellence?
To maintain the vitality of the organization, you might organize a standing committee, having a deep knowledge of the organization’s challenges, meeting periodically in order to analyze, debate and make-decision in focus to excellence.  The main role of the committee is to identify and correct misalignments between the organization’s focus and practices. It can also create new alignments when necessary and bring organization’s value to life.
